Later Hope: I am a Cancer, and you have to love the water signs! My career goals is to eventually open up my own business, with my own apparel and different products, but as well as utilize my degree and help individuals in counseling and fitness.

Colossill: What is your favorite music that you listen too? Favorite movie/Tv Show

Honestly, I do not have a favorite type of music; I love and enjoy all genres of music. I am very open to new sounds and different beats, I think it is very unique and it keeps me very open minded. My favorite television show would have to be “Friends” with Jennifer Aniston; I watch a episode every night before bed.

Colossill: What is something that inspires you or any inspirations?

I am very inspired by seeing individuals that are accomplishing their goals, in my opinion, there is nothing more inspiring than individuals that can overcome obstacles and challenges, and still work consistently to obtain their aspirations.

Colossill: What’s your background in modeling? When and why did you get started? Was it for the glamour? The money? Pure kicks?

I have been modeling since I was 15 years old, but my career began to accelerate when I turned 20 years old and was able to do more and be more flexible without life obligations, such as mandatory school. From the beginning, I knew modeling was for me, even before I knew about the possibility of obtaining a high income if successful. I enjoy and love taking photos for people, modeling in clothes or different advertisement. Growing up, I would walk through the kitchen and pose, as if it was my runway. I would look in the mirror and imitated facial expressions and poses.

Colossill: Who are some of your favorite models and designers, and why?

I love and admire Tyra Banks, she was able to accomplish her goal at a young at and grow, and learn as she continued. She was the first African American woman to be on the cover of GQ magazine. She was the first African American to be on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition, as well as the first African American woman to be on Victoria’s Secret lingerie catalogue. She pushed for her dreams, and I believe she dominated; she is an inspiration.

Colossill: What’s your fashion mantra?

Be Bold, be Beautiful, be You

Colossill: How would you describe your style?

My style is versatile; I love to wear anything that I believe is cute. Sometimes I would wear a two piece outfit, onsies, or skinny jeans and a cute cropped top. Depends on how I am feeling that day.

Colossill: Do you have any other experience in the fashion industry (writing, photography, marketing, etc.)?

I have experience in marketing, helping promote different fashion events in boutiques.

Colossill: What is fun and rewarding about modeling?

In my opinion, just being able to do what I love. Being able to see phenomenal shots or shots that I was not too pleased with, and learning what to do differently or work on.

Colossill: What do you dislike about modeling?

I dislike that sometimes when “modeling” is being considered it is associated with being a specific height or a specific size. There are different body types in the world, and one size cannot represent them all. I think that “size” and “height” discourages several aspiring models around the world because of the idea of not being good enough or the fear of not being accepted based on a physical standard.

Colossill: What advice do you have for other aspiring models?

Never stop going for your dreams, and always believe in yourself, even if no one else believes in you. Remain humble and teachable,

Colossill: How do you prepare for a modeling shoot?

Honestly, I all depends on what type of shoot. If I am doing a high fashion shoot, I take a look at other high fashion images to get a feel of the atmosphere or expectancy. If I am preparing for a beach shoot, I love to put on Pandora, and shoot based on how I feel in my swimsuit.

Colossill: What makes a stylish lady or man? Is there a difference?

I think personality and confidence makes a stylish lady or a stylish man. I don’t think that there is a difference, I believe that style is very unique and can be made one’s own; I think personality and confidence can play a role in style.

Colossill: Who are some of your favorite fashion photographers? (They do not have to be famous.)

Nigel Barker, Terry Richardson, Brendan Forbes, and Peter Noel

Colossill: What does fashion mean to you?

Expressing your individuality through style, being bold and confident in who you are.

Colossill: Thanks a lot for your time continue being Colossill!
